What WePredict is

WePredict is a prediction platform. We host questions about real-world events and let you record where you think the outcome will land. Doing this with friends, colleagues, or strangers helps us all reason more carefully about uncertainty.

What WePredict is not

  • Not a casino, not a betting site. Mu has no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be exchanged for any item of value outside the Platform. There is no real money on the Platform — yours, ours, or anyone else's.
  • Not investment or financial advice. Market prices reflect what other participants believe. They are not predictions by the Platform, they are not endorsements, and they are not investment recommendations. Do not rely on a market price to make a financial decision.
  • Not a news source. Comments and discussions on the Platform are written by users and may be incomplete, biased, or wrong. Verify with primary sources before acting on anything you read here.
  • Not a substitute for professional advice. If you face a decision with real consequences — medical, legal, financial, personal — talk to a qualified professional, not a prediction market.

Use it well

Some practical guidance for getting the most out of the Platform without it taking over your life:

  • Pace yourself. The leaderboard rewards consistency over months, not bursts in a day. You don't need to participate in every market.
  • Predict what you actually believe. The point is to test your judgement against reality, not to chase rank by following the crowd.
  • Lose well. Being wrong about the world is information. Note what you missed, update, move on.
  • Take breaks. Step away when other things in your life need attention. The Platform will be here when you return.

If your usage stops feeling healthy

Even though no real money is at stake, the loops on a prediction platform — checking prices, refreshing leaderboards, defending past predictions — can become compulsive for some people. Signs to watch for: checking the Platform when you intended to be doing something else, feeling anxious when you can't access it, or letting it interfere with sleep, work, relationships, or commitments.

If any of that resonates, consider:

  • Setting a daily time-budget for the Platform and sticking to it.
  • Logging out for a fixed period — a week, a month — and using the time elsewhere.
  • Disabling notifications, removing the app from your phone's home screen, or signing out on devices where you tend to check obsessively.
  • Talking to someone you trust — a friend, family member, or mental-health professional.

You can request that we pause your account by writing to info@wepredict.com. We will action a self-exclusion request promptly and without judgement.

Protect your account

  • Use a strong, unique password.
  • Never share one-time passwords. Our support staff will never ask for them.
  • Sign out on shared devices when you are done.
  • If you suspect unauthorised access, write to info@wepredict.com immediately.

Accuracy of information

We try to keep market questions, resolution criteria, and outcomes accurate, but errors happen. If you spot a factual error, an ambiguous resolution criterion, or what you believe is a mistaken resolution, use the in-product reporting tools or write to us. See our Terms of Service §6 for the resolution-and-disputes process.
