Running throughout June and July 2022, we will be hosting a series of broadcasts and talks with eminent leaders from across the technology sector. These broadcasts and talks to young people will showcase the breadth of roles and career choices that the world of technology offers, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities that advances in technology represent.

Our broadcasts are scheduled in advance and are available to anyone to join online. This year the speakers giving broadcasts include:

  • Dr Doug Gurr, Director, The Natural History Museum & Former UK Country Manager, Amazon - What is Machine Learning? 

  • Dr Sarah Wood OBE, Digital Entrepreneur, Investor, and Author of Stepping Up - Skills for the Future World of Work 

  • David Cordon, Head of Production, Nviz - How VFX has changed over time 

  • Siobhan Fitzpatrick, Chief Digital & Marketing Officer, Virgin Atlantic - Future of Flying/ Airline Industry

  • Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia, Founder and Executive Chair, Snoop - Future of Money

Our in-person and virtual talks are scheduled in advance and are run as private audiences between one speaker and one school. These sessions are not recorded or available for others to join. Schools wishing to host an in-person or virtual talk must be registered for our Inspiration programme and submit a request to host a talk for this campaign.
